Judges Training, September 2020

The training of IJRU Level 2 judges took place on the weekend of 19 - 20 September 2020 in Prague - Letňany.

In two days full of information, videos, live demonstrations and various questions, we went through the new rules of IJRU speed and freestyle for all disciplines, in which teams will race not only at the November Czech Championships in Prague, but also at the World Championships in Ottawa 2021 and other international competitions.

The whole training was accompanied by Anežka Bočková, a certified Judge Clinician IJRU, the demonstrations of speed and freestyle disciplines were provided by extras from our member teams - everyone deserves a big thank you for their involvement. As well as the participants for their proactive approach, stimulating questions and lively discussion, which took place not only during the training itself, but also during lunch breaks :)

If you did not manage to attend the training, use the possibility of online courses on the portal https://learn.ijru.sport/, where you can obtain a Level 1 certificate after completing the basic courses.

We will inform you about the next date of the judges' training on the website and on social networks.

You can view information and photos from the judges' training in September 2019 on our website.

For competitions organized by Czech Jump Rope and its member teams, we use the rules of the  the International Jump Rope Union.

Because a big number of certified judges is required for a smooth running of a competition and good results, we encourage all coaches and teammates to complete the WJR online courses available at www.learning.worldjumprope.org . The courses are in English and are accompanied by many videos where you can practice and verify the skills of the referee.

For the judges online or live training, you'll need a Jump Rope Judge app and in case, you have no mechanical clicker at home, we recommend the Scorekeeper Skiptraq app.
